Famous Actor Will Smith Under Thermography

Do you recognize this guy?

I happened to be watching his latest documentary on National Geographic titled "Welcome to Earth" over my holidays.

During the third episode I noticed they were using thermography to film a particular portion during the night.

I was astounded to see their thermal images looked exactly like the ones we take at The Thermology Clinic.

If you look closely you can see how Will's nose and ears are darker meaning they are much colder than the surrounding face.

His neck, eyes, and mouth are much whiter meaning they are producing more heat.

We would need to see the other half of his face for comparison but this is exactly what we look at on thermography.

Different pathologies, diseases, injuries, and illnesses change the way heat is produced by the body and can be detected using an advanced infrared camera such as this one.

Thyroid problems, sinus issues, stroke risk, skin cancer, neck pain, and dental problems can all potentially be seen under thermography.
